Gorgeous transitional model Submariner from 1983.

This example is in a beautifully original condition. Looks very sharp and well defined. In my opinion unpolished.

All original dial and hands. Absolutely amazing matte dial with all matching creamy luminous on hour markers and hands.

Lovely original date wheel disc with open 6's and 9's

The bezel insert has faded to a superb dark blue colour and the pip has gone a gorgeous creamy yellow.

Movement is running well and keeping time.

Bracelet has the full 12 links. 93150 with the correct 593 end links which were specifically for 16800.

Nice boxed set, includes inner and outer boxes, submariner booklet, price list from the mid '80s and also the Anchor.

All in all a lovely example of a rare watch, ready to be enjoyed.
