Omega Seamaster 18k Solid Gold Automatic Cross Hair Dial '60s Watch - Shell Oil

Reference number 14774-62

This watch was originally presented by Shell Oil to a retiring senior officer based in Singapore. A fascinating story which is shown documented in the two newspaper articles. Described as his "parting gift". It is engraved on the back with Mr Riley's name and service dates as well as the Shell Oil logo which has been put there in place of the usual Seahorse Hippocampus logo.

The watch is in lovely condition with only general signs of use.

All original dial and hands present very nicely with some attractive patina.

The Movement is running well and keeping time.

The watch was presented new in 1964.

Caseback inside has the usual Omega markings as well as the hallmark for 18k gold.

Fitted with a Hirsch Genuine Crocodile strap.

Truly a one of a kind watch with a fantastic provenance. Irreplaceable.
