Leica M3 Dual Stroke DS 35mm Rangefinder Camera Body Only Super Early 1955

Nice early example from the second batch of production. Features the glass pressure plate and "click down" rear door. Also being an early example it is a non frame-line selector lever model.

Features all of the other details of dual stroke models including longer rewind lever, "buddhas ears" strap lugs, different shutter speeds, more screws, etc, etc,

This is a nice example with some minor signs of use.

All of the original vulcanite "leatherette" is still present and holding up well.

Fully tested and operational. Nice bright viewfinder and contrasty rangefinder patch, frame-lines are all nice and bright. Rangefinder alignment is spot on.

Self timer all working nicely.

All clean in the film chamber.

Wind on is silky smooth and the shutter fires nice and crisply on all speeds, including 1 second.

Includes original Leica body cap.

A really good camera, ready to be used and enjoyed.
