Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute Ref. 809 Venus 178 1967 Vintage Chronograph Watch

The rare cousin to the Navitimer 806. The 809 features a 24 hour dial and was designed specifically with space travel in mind.

This example is in lovely condition with only general minor signs of use from over the years.

Fully original dial and hands have developed a stunning patina over the years. The hour markers have gone a gorgeous creamy colour unlike a lot navitimers which have gone a less attractive grey brown. 

Everything is functioning as it should including the slide rule bezel which turns nice and freely and all of the chronograph functions are operating with precision.

Fitted with a beautiful Strap Tailor Buttero Leather black strap.
